Quality Policy Statement

Armstrong Energy is a leading supplier in servicing the power industry and in particular specialising in parts production for Power Generation, Oil and Gas installations, Defence and the Mining industry.

Armstrong Energy’s integrated commitment to quality is through practices and policies ensure its customer requirements are fully determined, satisfied at the highest level and documented throughout all aspects of the contract to supply. Further, Armstrong Energy is committed to providing value added products and services by responding to the needs and requirements of its customers in an innovative, efficient and cost effective manner.

 To achieve the highest standards Armstrong Energy utilises the principles of:

  • Quality System Standards that is AS/NZA ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems – Requirements. This standard defines the business process controls that need to be visible with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, continual improvement and efficiency;
  • Continually maintain and further develop internal quality management compliance systems [continuous improvement] that follow the processes as they flow through in practice in accordance with Australian Standard AS 3806 - 2006 Compliance Programs;
  • Further, consistent with Government policy and important others, type 5 - quality assurance is also utilised where appropriate which is inspection by the customer and acceptance of the product if it fully meets the standards detailed in the documentation provided; and
  • Conforming to the statutory/regulatory requirements and recognises occupational safety and health requirements and environmental issues.

Armstrong Energy also has independent audits undertaken to examine and evaluate its overall activities to ensure that it is fully compliant with all aspects of its business with particular emphasis on customer focus - total satisfaction - including, but not limited to, quality management.

Armstrong Energy welcomes any customer or prospective customer to inspect either in full or part processes that are in progress to establish that Armstrong Energy remains true to its stated objectives.

Quality management is essential for the long term success of Armstrong Energy to maintain Certification to the AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality System Standard; but not limited to fostering new business opportunities and demonstrate commitment to excellence.

Customer Service Policy

Armstrong Energy's reputation and recognition relies upon the quality, reliability and service range as well as the standard of service offered to its customers.

To protect and enhance Armstrong energy's expanding market share, the quality and reliability of its services, reputation for integrity and service is the concern of every person who works for or on behalf of Armstrong Energy.

The reliability and quality of our services commences with the receipt of high level briefs with respect to such things as:

  • Selection and design of services to deliver the required outcomes;
  • Delivery of the services on time and within budget.
  • Professional management of the overall tasks / project.
  • The overall price paid represents value for money.
  • Satisfactory compliance with any legislation, standards, policies, etc. which may be appropriate.
  • Applying ethical standards, which include maintaining confidentiality, equity and privacy.

Armstrong Energy values your feedback.

Armstrong Energy will monitor its performance against its service standards and will seek feedback from customers through regular surveys of customer satisfaction.

We need your help to improve the way we operate and therefore welcome your suggestions for improvements. We equally seek your advice when we fail to meet our standards or live up to your expectations.

All staff will try to deal with any problem you have but the director is also available to assist if you are not satisfied with the initial responses/s or wish to offer general comments.

Occupational Safety & Health Statement

Policy:
Armstrong Energy encourages the development of a culture and processes to ensure the safety and health of all employees, contractors and clients associated with our operations.

Beliefs:
In support of this, we believe that:

  • No business objective will take priority over safety and health.
  • All incidents and injuries are preventable.
  • Full co-operation for providing a safe work environment and rests with every individual.
  • All individuals have the responsibility and accountability to identify and eliminate or manage risks associated with their workplace.
  • OS&H legislation will be the minimum requirements for our safety and health standards.

To achieve a hazard free working environment and to maximise the operational effectiveness, we need and expect the full co-operation of all concerned.

Worksafe's General Duty of Care Guidance notes, the Occupational Health and Safety Act (1984), and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations (1996) and other Guidance Notes and Codes of Practice will used to promote comprehensive and practical preventative strategies that improve the working environment.
