What are condenser tube plugs?
Condenser tube plugs are multipurpose plugs, used primarily in power generation. These plugs prevent leaks by creating a blockage in the pipe. This is achieved by the condensing and expanding of the outer rubber tube. Condenser tube plugs are equipped with a large outer washer, which prevents the plug from being pulled into the vacuum unit of the tube. The prevention of leakage aids in the cleaning of pipes from rust and contamination or can assist in pipe pressure testing.
