What is Natural Rubber?
Natural rubber is a commonly used plastic, derived from the plant liquid, latex. Although natural rubber and synthetic rubber have similarities, they are composed differently. Natural rubber can be manufactured to create custom machined, moulded and extruded componentry as per specification.
What are the benefits of Natural Rubber?
Natural rubber is used in multiple applications due to its many benefits including its high tear and cut resistance. Natural rubber is also known for its water resistance, high tensile strength and low temperature flexibility. Natural rubber is used in applications requiring a level of heat and wear resistance.
Natural rubber has many benefits, however has poor resistance to oils and similar solvents and therefore not recommended in these applications.
